Groundwork 2027 Terms and Privacy

Programme terms

Groundwork 2027 is run jointly by People.Business.Action (PBA) and Creative Coast. By applying, you agree to these terms.

Places. We're offering up to three supported places. We read every application and choose the organisations we think will benefit most. Our decision is final, and we may choose not to fill every place.

Fees. The full value is NZ$10,000 + GST (AUD 8,500, USD 6,000, or GBP 4,500 outside New Zealand). Successful applicants pay 50% less, as agreed with us before the work starts. GST is added for New Zealand organisations only.

Payment. 50% upfront, when you confirm your place, and 50% on completion. PBA and Creative Coast each invoice you for their share. Invoices are due within 14 days.

Timing. Applications close at 11:59pm NZDT on Sunday 13 December 2026. The work runs from December 2026 to February 2027, on dates we agree with you.

Your part. A named lead in your team, the right people at the sessions, and reasonable notice if dates need to change.

Case study. In return for our support, you agree to give a short testimonial and let us share a brief case study. We'll agree the wording with you, and nothing that names your organisation is published without your approval.

Cancellation. If you withdraw before the Discover audit starts, we refund your upfront payment in full. Once the audit has started, the upfront payment is non-refundable, and if you withdraw later we charge only for work completed. To move a session, please give us at least five working days' notice. If we can't deliver, we'll agree new dates or refund what you've paid for work not delivered.

Confidentiality. What your team shares with us stays confidential. We report survey and interview findings as themes, not attributed to individuals.

Privacy statement

PBA and Creative Coast follow the Privacy Act 2020.

What we collect. The details you give in your application or nomination: your name, role, and contact details, information about your organisation, and your answers.

Why. To assess your application, contact you about it, and, if you're offered a place, deliver the programme.

Who sees it. Only the PBA and Creative Coast team running Groundwork 2027. We never sell or share your information with anyone else.

How we store it. Securely, using online tools including Google Drive and Supabase. Some of these are based overseas; we only use providers we're satisfied protect your information to the standard of the Privacy Act 2020.

How long we keep it. Applications that aren't offered a place: 12 months, so we can let you know about future rounds. Organisations taking part: three years. After that, we delete it.

Your rights. You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact people@pbaction.org.

Optional questions are optional. Leaving them blank won't count against you.
